Pattern Making
A. Pattern is a replica of a Product and hence needed to be perfectly made to get optimum output as per the product specification in terms of dimensional and esthetic.
B. The product drawing / sample is studied out for its parting line, draft and machining allowances through generating the product 3D model with the inhouse facility of 3D model making software – Fusion 360. The layout of product help to accommodate the number of patterns in the Flask size to get optimum bunch weight by maintaining the sand to metal ratio.
C. The contraction is the major feature needed to be studied well before manufacturing of pattern which is a result of density change in metal which happens while transformation of liquidous metal to solid state.
D. After completion of Designing work, the model is taken further for 3D machining program where the 3D machining path generated and allow to manufacture the pattern with the help of inhouse facilitated VMC machine. Here the Pattern material is decided to make pattern of various material depends on its order quantity. Majorly material used are Wood, Aluminum, Cast Iron, etc.
E. At completion of pattern manufacturing the layout method implementation carried out and made pattern ready for trial run / inspection run.
